Blue Blood Series

Postby Emily W. on Mon Jul 07, 2008 4:01 am

The books are:
"Blue Bloods"
"Masquarade"
and soon to be "Revolations"
By Melissa de la Cruz (sp?)

Has anyone else read the series? I have found these books really good and I know alot of people who read Twilight has enjoyed these books as well and I was wondering if anyone else has enjoyed these books.

I really really like them. I think they were well written.

I can't compare it to Twilight because even though they are books about vampires, they are very different from each other that it would be hard to actually compare to the two.

They are also really different then what the back tells you what they are. The books are written from 3 different perspectives: Schylar Van Allan, Bliss Lyenwell and Mimi Force.

Each girl has a compeletly different personality that sets them different.

The story line of the book is very intreging.

Even thought the story is told from richer girls (well Schylar's not really that rich) in a upscale neighborhood, you learn how the most perstiges familes in NYC are actually a group of vampires called Blue Bloods.

There history is very different from the Cullens that, like I said before, can not be compared to Twilight easily.

I would reccomend these books to any Twilight fan. I know alot of my friends who have read the book say that if you like Twilight you'll like these books.

Now I really want to read them! I've read Melissa de la Cruz's other books 'The Au Pairs' series and loved them. I'm definitely going to read these. Thanks for the suggestion. :D

I read these books and i thought they were really good.
But they can NOT compare to Twilight.
I really like how the are told in different pints of views
and of course they're about vampires so thats obviously great.
It's been a while since i read the first two but i definately recommend them.
Does anyone know when the third one is coming out?

I read these books a few months ago, they were good but really nothing like Twilight except for the vampire part. They kind of remind me of Gossip Girl books that I use to really like but not so much anymore, just because of the whole thing with everyone being rich and basically getting whatever they want. They are still pretty good though!
