Question of the Week

There are a few “missing” chapters, posted on Stephenie Meyer’s site, that were not included in Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. Do you think that any of the “missing” chapters will help us decifer what will happen in
Breakinng Dawn? And, give us details!!

I couldn't find any for Eclipse =(

BUT, I do thoroughly enjoy the on from Twilight where Alice and Bella go shopping while they're fleeing to Pheonix! They leave Jasper in the car, and when they come out loaded down with bags he says "I knew I should have gone". Typical male response to the female shopping abilities to spend unnerving quantities of money!!

I do hate that Emmett's story was taken out. Even though Rosalie tells it from her point of view, everyone else has the chance to tell Bella what they remember of dying/being changed. Leaving that part out almost makes it seem like he either doesn't remember anything about it...but it's proly because he is so pumped about his superhuman strength that he doesn't think often about his human life!

---

That being said, I don't think that any of them leave something to want in the books. They were cut out for a reason, wether that be because it wasn't needed, because it didn't make sense, because it didn't flow, etc. They are neat to read though!!

I don't think so. I mean, there are some things that I would have liked to see in the books (like Emmett's story told from his pov) but I think that if it was key, it would have been in the books.

I think Stephenie gives us all the clues we need in the book, if these were important than she would have somehow put them in the book.

I really liked the whole Jacob's POV that comprises his life from Twilight on through New Moon. For me it really helped me understand Jacob better and not completely hate him so much. Now I just don't love him as much as Edward.
But i think that this will be important to Breaking Dawn because there will most likely be even more decisions that Jacob makes that the readre gets pissed at. We have to remember that Jakey is human, too (well kinda -- you know what i mean) and he has feelings and loves Bella very much.

As for the other ones, I agree with MegAnBGood. The stories were taken out for a reason. They will probably help us understand BD better, but i doubt they will be completely necassary to the book at all.
