What do you guys think of Ian?

Personaly, If I had never heard of Edward Cullen, I would be very happy with Ian...

Personality wise I think I like Ian better than Edward. Edward's over-protectiveness goes too far some times. Ian has the right balance, realizing that Wanda is her own person. Or...well. You know.

Ian is great. he´s so amicable but i like jared too even though he was so mean to wanda. if i had to choose between edward and ian i wouldn´t know which to take...

I kinda think that Ian is a better character than Edward just because of the fact that he isn't perfect and he isn't as controlling as Edward is with Bella. I mean during the book I swoon over Edward but afterwards I notice I could never deal with him.

yeah i agree that ian is a good character because hes not perfect but then edward isnt perfect either (he can be controlling, jealous, and gets angry easily) so wouldnt that make him not so perfect after all?

i know in i think eclipse him and bella start talking about his virtue and he says its the only thing he has left, hes lied, stole, murdered and whatnot so i guess that makes him seem more human to me...

really good point tho bc he would be frustrating to be with but if your in love i guess that doesnt really matter...

Between Ian and Edward, I think that Ian could be the one who could actually be measured up to, though it would never really BE SM's Ian. You know? Edward's great and all, but, really, I can picture Ian so much better than Edward. I'd choose Ian over Edward anyday...

Ian is just alright to me, I would easily pick Edward over him. Edward is overprotecting at times but I could deal with it since it is Edward after all.

I can't pick and I don't want to. If the world was to be invaded by Aliens and I had to hide in a hole in the desert then I would want Ian 100% with me. If I were in a dark green wooded area and I ran into a vampire I would want it to be Edward. But I will say this...I loved the part in the host when they put Wanda in Sunny's body and she woke up and Ian said something like, "I held you in my hand and you were beautiful." Oh that made me melt!!! I hope Stephenie does more in the series and I hope they make it into a movie.....

I love Ian, he almost inspired me to make a team ian t-shirt and edward never inspired that in me.
but i need to point out that the last person who commented said "when she woke up in Sunny's body" and it was Pet's not sunny, sunny is the soul with kyle, just fyi

PS Ian is the best

but I also agree with the person that said if the world that was taken over by aliens i'd want ian and if i was stuck in a green wooded area i'd want edward cullen.

I guess I dont know where Id stand....can I be switzerland on this too? lol

omg i spent like 3 days after reading the host trying to figure this out xD
ian is amazing. i love the part when he found out what wanda was going to do and then he flipped out but then just completely melted.....it was so sweet and sad. but i don't know....i mean edward can be overprotective at times. ian is both protective but he's really fun and nice and a total heartthrob too xD

probably ian......haha this makes me feel guilty. sorry ed xD
