For this week’s Question of the Week we wanted to ask you a question about our celebrity couple Jassie!
How do you feel about Jacob imprinting on Renesme? And, as a personal favor… when did you figure out Jacob had imprinted?

Ahh...I think I felt a little weird about Jacob imprinting on Renesmee. Especially after how angry he was because Bella "died" giving birth to her.


However, I stopped reading after their eyes (Jacob's and Renesmee's) met for the first time and so I had a few hours to think about it and I was like "OMG...what if Jacob imprinted on the baby?!" It was kinda strange just the way all of a sudden, after making up his mind to kill it, he suddenly felt the need to just stay and protect.


Of course, once I read on and Edward was being all vague about why Jacob was being allowed to be around Renesmee, I kinda figured my supicions were correct, and so when he came clean about it I wasn't shocked. Well, not in the sense that I was shocked because I didn't know, anyway.

It took me a while to get used to the fact that Quil (it is Quil right? I forget) had imprinted on a two-year old, so just confirming that Jacob had imprinted on little Renesmee had me a little disturbed. I know, I am looking at it too much in a sexual way, but I can't help it. When that kid grows up, they WILL be together and that's just sorta freaky. But I think deep down I always knew that, no matter how hard she would try so she could "spare his feelings", Jacob was always going to be part of Bella's life. And probably forever now because, if Jacob is in love with a half-vampire, he'll probably be stuck as his teenage self forever.
