Don't freak out, this isn't news for a real musical. Just an idea I had to create one of our own. Another one of my loves (other than Twilight) is musicals. I even saw Lestat, during it's limited run. The thought that Elton John was able to create a musical based off of my favorite Vampire made me think, why don't we try and do our own. You can post whatever songs from whatever, musical or not, and a description of why you chose it. I'll edit this first post, and put the songs in sequential order.

I think "Fall For You" by SecondHand Serenade would be a good song for "New Moon"

I know the beginning is talking about them not fighting but other then that I think it would be a great part for the night Bella and Edward come back from Volturria(sp?) and Edward is in Bella's room.

It is saying that even though I never stopped loving you, I'm falling for you all over again because we've been away to long and that Bella is Edward's true love... and when they mention thinking about him in her sleep... for Bella to dream of Edward.

I don't know what you guys think ut I was just listening to it and it hit me that we have a "Musical" going along

Good Enough by Evanescence, pretty much for how bella feels about edward. you could put it under any of the books, i guess.

I love that song shinacake. It reminds of a lullabye, though not sure that it would be Edward's. It would be funny if it were in our 'musical' and he was humming it to her and Bella were to then break out into song. I'll put it under Twilight, since it was her first encounter with Edward and her feelings towards him.

OoO... "Almost Lover" - A Fine Frenzy is a great song from Bella's POV in New Moon. Obviously, this would probably fit in best right after Edward leaves.

Another one that's really good is "Near to You" - A Fine Frenzy, although this is probably more of a Bella and Jacob song... i just realized this when I was looking up the lyrics. :shock:

I guess this could be in New Moon or Eclipse. Probably more along the lines of New Moon right before Bella leaves for Italy?

i think I Really Want You by James Blunt is good for Jacob's love for bella. (especiallly the chorus)

I think, that Creep from radiohead, fits very well for bella and the way she thinks about herself and edward.

I think the song Forever and Ever Amen by Randy Travis would be a good song for when Edward is telling Bella that she doesn't have to be a vampire for him to love her forever.

I'm not excatly sure where you want to put it... it go in Twilight when they confuss there love to each other or in New Moon when Edward and Bella are talking the first night Edward's back... so where ever you guys think it works best

Marisa - definitely "You Picked Me". LOL I have that song on my iPod, I dunnoe why I didn't put it down before. Although, I think I find it a little bit more fitting for Edward at the end of Eclipse rather than Bella.

Here's another song that I LOVE. I mentioned it before in another thread somewhere. Breathing - Lifehouse. This would probably describe Edward when he first goes to watch Bella sleeping in Twilight. Or probably any other time he watches her sleep.

btw, i believe 'everytime' by britney spears should be on the new moon list...
